Religious and Community Life
Religious and Community Life can be a large part of a Venturer's life. Please use these resources to enhance your crew's program.
Religious Life Crews
A crew that focuses on can be attached to a church group or independent of a spiritual organization. Each of these crews is a part of the Venturing Program and the BSA and can work on all advancements to which they are entitled. The ideals of Venturing are compatible with our American religious institutions and can be further explored through Church Sponsored Religious Award Programs. We offer the Religious Life Bronze Award and the TRUST award as a way of recognizing and guiding a religious life emphasis program. See the Venturing Handbook for details on all these advancements.
Additional Training
Training for adult leaders is available at the Philmont Training Center during the Venturing Conference and the Religious Program Conferences. Please Contact your council about an invitation to these courses and you can look at the information at www.scouting.org/Venturing for training resources about the Venturing Conference.
