Venturers have opportunities to learn and apply proven leadership skills. These opportunities are found at many levels:

• A Venturing crew is led by elected crew officers.
• The Teen Leader Council or Venturing Officer Association plans and leads council wide activities.
• The Southern Region Venturing Cabinet is comprised of officers nominated by councils across the region.
• The National Venturing Cabinet works to promote and sustain Venturing nation-wide and internationally.

Adults advise, support and promote Venturing in many ways:

• Crew advisors and committee members work with Venturers within a crew to create exciting programs and leadership opportunities.
• District and council committees support Venturing crews and Teen Leader Councils and promote Venturing to local communities.
• The Southern Region Venturing Committee works to foster superior Venturing programs in the 13 state region.
