Service Project Opportunties in Area 8
The Southern Region Service Project is staffing the outdoor events of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Light the Night marches raise awareness about blood-related cancers and honor those for whom research has come too late. Venturers and other Scouts help with logistics, traffic control, first aid, and clean-up.

Teams in Training are endurance athletes who compete in marathons and half-marathons, triathlons, cycling, and backpacking events. Venturers who are endurance athletes might want to join one of these teams. Venturers may also help with training activities and with competitions.
