Service Project Opportunities
The 2009 Service Project of Southern Region Venturing is staffing the outdoor events of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Light the Night
Light the Night marches are candlelight marches through the cities, which raise awareness about blood related cancers and remember those for whom research has come too late. Venturers and other Scouts help with logistics, traffic control, first aid, clean-up and other tasks. Ask your LLS contact person how you and your Crew can participate.

Teams in Training
Teams in Training are endurance athletes who participate in marathons and half-marathons, triathlons, cycling races and backpacking expeditions, while raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Venturers who are endurance athletes may want to join a TnT. Venturers and other Scouts help these athletes by staffing practice sessions and events. There are two TnTs in Area 7:
